With lots of ranged combat going on, they don't come out much though. And unless it is clear that they are far away, be lenient in saying that they are close enough. When asked 'can it reach to X', err on the side of yes. In my case, I never once saw the players charge. You just decide, erring on the side of yes.

If you use that, then be lenient in giving adjacent allies AoO whenever they say 'push close to Buddy X' or 'between me and Buddy X'. I do believe there is errata for it that says they provoke AoO from others but not from you. Remember it specifically can't be used to push people into things. No one ever took it but I would just let them push creatures 'a little closer to X', 'a little farther frm Y' or 'between X and Y (for flanking I would have been generous in giving it)'.
